In Episode 119 of the Just Japan Podcast, host Kevin O’Shea talks with Brett Larner of the Japan Running News. With the Rio Summer Olympics kicking off this week, Kevin gets the analysis of the Japanese Athletics team (specifically runners) from Brett. Brett is the “go to guy” when it comes to expertise in the running world in Japan in English. Brett talks a little bit about his site, “Japan Running News” as well as the Japanese athletes to watch out for in Rio. We briefly touch on the Russian doping scandal and talk about what to expect this summer in Rio!
