Pee Jay, an avid figure skating fan himself talks about the fan culture, well-known skaters like Asada Mao and Hanyu Yuzaru as well as why the sport is so popular.

This guy was pretty creepy. Has nothing to do with gender, but it just seems like he is obsessed with figure skating. It reminded me of a band groupie, rather than simply an aficionado. There’s nothing wrong with having hobbies, following sports, and getting involved in a community of like-minded individuals. But I think this guy needs some friends…
