I live in nyc, I never been in Japan but I’ve been pitched by Japanese recruiters for a fullstack rails/js + extras(devops, XU, UI) with no Japanese required. I don’t know how much they pay, but if you’re a descent webdev guy you can just get a remote job in the US and travel or relocate where you desire. From what I hear US devs get treated much better than any where else in the world.
